Fortuity Financials keeps the cash, cards and books of every company you own in one clear view, updated as your banks post. Each capability below is stated with a way to check it.

Multi-company books

Every account and transaction carries the company it belongs to; totals combine or separate without double counting.

How to verify: Accounts are filed under a company at connection; a combined view and a single-company view of the same period sum to the same total.

Bank connections

Bank, card and brokerage accounts connect through Plaid.

How to verify: Connect an account and see its transactions arrive with the institution name and last four digits.

History import

Past transactions import from Monarch CSV exports, generic CSV and OFX or QFX files, with duplicates skipped by stable id.

How to verify: Import the same file twice; the second import adds nothing.

Permanent record

Every transaction is stored in the form the bank sent it and in categorized form.

How to verify: Recategorize a transaction; the original bank record is still present beside it.

Currency

Amounts keep their original currency and convert at the reference rate for their own day.

How to verify: A foreign-currency transaction shows its original amount and the converted amount for its posted date.

Categories and rules

Your rules categorize automatically; suggestions wait for approval.

How to verify: Create a rule, then see matching new transactions categorized by it.

Credits and refunds

A built-in view lists every credit and refund across all companies.

How to verify: Open Credits and refunds and filter by company or date.

Cards and due dates

Card balances, last statement dates and next payment due dates appear beside cash.

How to verify: Open Accounts and read the due date on each card.

Search

One search covers every company and every year of history.

How to verify: Search a vendor name and see matches from every company.

Questions in plain words

A read-only connection answers questions about your books, scoped to the companies you choose.

How to verify: Ask a spending question with one company selected and see answers from that company only.

Masking

Account, routing and card numbers are reduced to their last four digits before storage.

How to verify: No full account number appears anywhere in the product.

Connection health

Each bank link shows when it last synced and what it last delivered.

How to verify: Open a connection and read its last sync time.
